Ann Bixel
Class Year: 2005
Why WittNation?
As an admission counselor currently based in Boston, Mass., Ann will be joining the Witt Nation crew to help welcome members of the Class of ’14 from the East Coast – students she has gotten to know well during the admission process – to the “Wittenberg family.” She will also be a face for admission to future students in that area. And, she will get to share memories, stories from campus, and her love for Witt with alumni on the trek.
Why Wittenberg?
“Attending Wittenberg was an easy choice for me. Little did I know my ‘easy choice would lead me to some of the most difficult classes, challenging opportunities, influential people, and life-shaping situations that helped me grow and become the person I am today. Through my liberal arts education, I was forced out of my comfort zone, learned from people far different than me, and found out it was OK to major in art. Witt gave me the ability to discover who I am and to have conviction for my passions. Each day working in admission gives me the opportunity to share my Witt experiences with high school students so they, too, may discover their passions through Wittenberg.”
