After a great night in Delaware we headed to D.C. to check out our nation’s capitol. Stacy Rastauskas ’98 was hospitable enough to put us up in a hotel right on Dupont Circle so that we could be in the middle of all the action. Our first order of business was to head to Capitol Hill where we had the privilege of meeting with Congressman Dave Hobson. Before we went on the Capitol tour he sat down with us and told us about his relationship to Wittenberg. It was great to hear about how Wittenberg has impacted the life of a man who has had such an influence on the university. He told us all about going to Wittenberg basketball games and getting to know Wittenberg faculty. Stacy Rastauskas came with us to talk to the Congressman and it was great to see her at work in her hometown. After talking with Congressman Hobson we took a tour of the Capitol and did a little sightseeing. Everything was amazing! Thanks D.C. for showing us a great time!
