As we continue to finalize the details for the road, we run into small decisions that the team collaborates on and easily resolves. One detail that continues to spark a flare in all of our hearts is the music selection. As I sit here listening to my Taylor Swift Radio station on Pandora, I believe she is a clear front runner on the playlist. Some of my fellow roadies disagree. Ben is more of the free spirit who’s into these bands that for the most part I have never heard of. I think if he’s bringing these tunes, I’m definitely bringing my little brother's demo CD. It’s only fair. We also have Linda who really, really, wants Sailing by Christopher Cross to be this year’s theme song… no comment. Then, we have to remember that we have faculty joining us on this year’s trip. I definitely see their selection being more “classic” with favorites like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and maybe even some with a secret love for Ozzy Osborn or Britney Spears. The preferences go on and on and differ from each crew member, some obviously having better taste than others.
Witt Nation, we clearly need your input here. Respond to this post by clicking the comment link below and give the crew your suggestions for our Witt Nation Playlist!

ashley,
I'd share that Clark Manson demo tape with the rest of the crew.
Grandpa
Check out Benji Hughes
The best thing I've found all year. Goes great with summertime fun.
music
Ashley,
I like your little brother's Demo CD as well.
Dad
music for the trip
Pretty much anything Rascal Flatts, as well as KT Tunstall. I've found that I like almost every song by these artists!
Music suggestions
Anything by The Proclaimers. Who brought you such hits as:
"I'm on my Way", "Hit the Highway" and I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)".
Not only good music, but theme appropriate as well. I also suggest the song "Mr. Blue Sky" by the Electric Light Orchestra.

I am going to be with you on the road for 7 days and thankfully, like Taylor Swift. I'm bringing some Kelly Clarkson, Pink and other chick rock! I'll load my IPod up too so we can switch if we get bored with our own stuff!! Can't wait...

Ashley,
You need to listen to anything Stephanie in Advancement suggests. She's an amazing person with superior insights. Go ELO!

ELO has a lot of fine tunes. Don't forget ABBA. Come On Eileen is a great one hit wonder. For a real change of pace, try Atomic Dog.
