What is Witt Nation All About?

As we embarked on a 12-hour leg of the trip from Vegas to Denver, we had a lot of time to reflect on the first half of Witt Nation 2009. As the sun was streaming through the cracked windshield, sunglasses were a necessity, and we became engrossed in the beautiful scenery, e-mails, the lack of cell service...many were catching up on lost sleep. The start of Witt Nation 2009 has been a great success. As planned, we are connecting with alumni, family and friends of the university. The addition of faculty to the trip has made the events more exciting and added an educational component-along with fun chat and pranks in the van. 

Three of us bail out in Denver, Ashley Petersen, Jon Duraj and myself. We welcome Professor Tammy Proctor to the crew. Good luck with the rest of the journey, crew, you are doing a great job....

As the hot sun set this evening on the Mile High City...and we completed our alumni event and our 10-mile Moonlight Classic bike ride, I am signing off for now...stay safe and remember you are at 'altitude.'
