Hour of Power

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

For the past three seasons we have participated in the Ted Mullin “Leave it in the Pool” Hour of Power Relay for Sarcoma Research. It’s an annual philanthropy event that brings together 150 swim teams from around the world to fight for a great cause.

For our team, this event is organized completely by our athletes. Adam Shick ’11 and Phil Bambach ’11 took the lead this year in putting together another great event. Each year this event holds special meaning for different members of our team who have family members impacted by cancer. We dedicate our Hour of Power to all those people in our lives who continue the battle.

Some day we all hope that cancer will be curable. We know that it is going to take lots of research to get there and hope that the contributions we make to the Ted Mullin foundation will be a step toward that reality. If you would like to help support this event, drop me an e-mail and I’ll send you the information about how to make a donation.
