Wittenberg Theatre Department Presents One-Act Play Festival

Springfield, Ohio – Wittenberg University Department of Theatre and Dance holds its One-Act Play Festival as four theatre majors direct one-act plays. Two one-act plays will be presented each day at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 1-3, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Wittenberg Student Theatre, Springfield Center for the Arts at Wittenberg University, 107 Cliff Park Road. Tickets are free and available one hour before performances.

At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 3, Anna Kirkland, class of 2013 from Mirriam, Kan., will direct 12:21 p.m. by F.J. Hartland, and Sasha Weinsz, class of 2013 from North Canton, Ohio, will direct A Chance Meeting by Frederick Stroppel.

At 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 Krissy Hartman, class of 2013 from Strongsville, Ohio, will direct Impromtu by Tad Mosel, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, Meghann Greene, class of 2013 from North Royalton, Ohio, will direct 13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview by Ian McWethy.

Tickets are free and available one hour before each performance at the student box office.
