Springfield, Ohio – Wittenberg University, a respected leader in teacher education, increases its Master of Arts in Education course offerings this summer for teachers who want to increase their professional knowledge or renew their licensure. The department will also offer professional development courses.

In addition, the State of Ohio has approved the Early Childhood and Middle Childhood Generalist Endorsement. Beginning in May, classes will be offered for those who seek to add the endorsement to their existing licensure.

Wittenberg will initiate a new cohort of degree seeking students this summer for those teachers who want to begin course work toward a master’s degree with an emphasis in math and science.

“Our next cohort is open for any teacher grade K–12 who would have an interest in the math/science classroom focus,” said Gina Post, director of Wittenberg’s graduate studies in education.

Educators interested in learning more about graduate courses offered by Wittenberg this summer can contact the education department office at 937-327-6417. Graduate program applications are available from the office or online at
