Stephanie Boardman ’10 scored just 36 points in limited action off the bench as a freshman on the women’s basketball team. Four years later, she heads toward Commencement as perhaps the most decorated player in program history.

The final feather in Boardman’s cap was inserted when she was named honorable mention All-America by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, which capped an impressive postseason awards run. Boardman was one of 12 finalists for the prestigious Jostens Trophy, a national award that honors the most outstanding player in the country based on basketball ability, academic prowess and community service, and she also was a first-team All-Great Lakes Region honoree by d3hoops.com and first-team All-NCAC, in addition to earning the league’s Player of the Year award.

Additionally, Boardman earned second-team CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division All-District IV honors, and is just the third All-American in program history and the third NCAC Player of the Year as well – the only player to hold both distinctions
