Wittenberg Magazine is a quarterly publication that is distributed around the country. Delivery months are January, April, July and October.

What are the deadlines for submissions?

Deadlines for copy submissions are: 
Nov. 15 for the Winter issue due out in January; 
Feb. 15 for the Spring issue due out in April; 
May 15 for the Summer issue due out in July; and 
Aug. 15 for the Fall issue due out in October.

Due to the large number of Class Notes received and additional research that needs to be conducted through the Office of Alumni Records, deadlines for the Class Notes may vary.

What are the magazine’s departments?

The magazine typically includes eight to nine departments in each issue. The departments are: Around Myers Hollow, Education, Alumni World, Perspective, Campus Life, Tiger Sports, Witt World and Last Word.

Around Myers Hollow provides news about campus, faculty, staff and Wittenberg events, while Education serves to introduce readers to topics affecting education today and/or Wittenberg’s various academic departments. Alumni World presents news as it relates to the Alumni Association, Alumni Clubs and alumni events, and this department is also the home of Class Notes, alumni profiles and obituaries. Perspective offers a place for current students and/or alumni to share an experience, defining moment or fond memory as it pertains to Wittenberg. Tiger Sports covers all of Wittenberg’s athletes and athletics, while Campus Life reflects the current scene at Wittenberg. Witt World provides a glimpse into Wittenberg’s past, while Last Word features the president’s viewpoint on a particular topic.

What size photo should I send?

Wittenberg Magazine accepts all sizes of photographs. We also accept color 
and black and white photos as well as digital photos. For those sending digital photos,please click here. Please note that due to the large number of
photos we receive, we cannot return them.
