As a Witt grad ('93 - English), a green architect / building consultant, and LEED AP, I was very happy to see this piece. Believe it or not we DID have recycling in the dorms back when I was there in 1990 (though it was admittedly an uphill battle), and we had a fledgling recycling program and the Lambda Chi house. Great job to the students for spearheading the effort and for the University administration for jumping aboard.

Sincerely,

Joe Snider, '93

Mariah,

I just wanted to say thank you for this great story! It has started me on my own journey to Bulgaria to bring home a little girl, never would have found out about the program without this article.
