3 June 2010 No Comment

Themed “These Are a Few of My Favorite Things,” Wittenberg’s first of two Alumni Colleges this summer will feature 11 professors who received the Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Teaching, the university’s top faculty prize.

Scheduled for June 9-13 on campus, this year’s Alumni College will welcome Cynthia Behrman, professor emeritus of history; William Buscemi, professor emeritus of political science; Charles Chatfield, professor emeritus of history; Claudia Cornett, professor emeritus of education; Trudy Faber, professor of music; Richard Flickinger, professor emeritus of political science; Gerry Hudson, professor of political science; Virginia Hibbett Lucas ’53, professor emeritus of education; Scott Rosenberg, associate professor of history; David Wishart, professor of economics, and Jo Wilson, Keil Professor of Psychology.

Each award-winning professor and those who will team-teach have chosen the topic and format for their 90-minute presentation, leaving time for interaction with participants. This Alumni College will also be held in conjunction with a music reunion and the 60th reunion of the Class of 1950.
