A Person’s A Person No Matter How Small

So much has happened that I’ve decided that I can’t procrastinate on my blogging any further or I might forget it all. I know it’s been awhile. I finished two of my half semester classes over Spring Break, so now I should have a lot more time for blogging and catching up.
I went home to Jamaica for Spring Break, and I had such an amazing time. It was good to get away for awhile, so that I could clear my head, and prepare for the rest of the semester. I spent a lot of time on the beach, working with friends and of course eating Jamaican food! Yummy! I couldn’t have asked for a better trip.
I got the most awful surprise today walking out of class and realizing that there was actually snow falling from the sky. Come on Ohio! It’s almost April. Where is Spring? This week I also had class registration, which is always a stressful time. Trying to fit everything into your schedule in time for graduation is never fun. But, I successfully registered for 2 art classes which I need to complete my minor, as well as my last 2 psychology classes which I need to complete my major. I also finally declared by sociology minor, so I will be spending my last semester here at Wittenberg finishing that one up. But, at least I will be completely finished with my major in the Fall!

This week is also Confidence Week! In order to promote confidence in women, my sisters and I gave out Confidence Coalition balloons with positive messages on them including Dr. Seuss quotes of course! Some of my sisters also wrote up post-it notes with messages and stuck them all over the mirrors. It was very successful, and we got a lot of positive reports about how many people we made happy.

Last weekend I also did an Adopt a Highway Clean-up with my sisters. Let’s just say cleaning up garbage off the highway is NOT fun in 20 degree weather. After an hour and a half we had all about given up, and retired to our sorority house for pizza and a movie.
This upcoming weekend is our Sorority formal, which we’re all looking forward to! I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
