It has already been three weeks since we began this semester! It’s really amazing how time goes by so quick. Last week was rush week with everyone going over to the different houses. What I enjoyed the most was meeting so many new people because it just makes campus a smaller place. The girls at each house were extremely warm and welcoming and shared with us their philanthropies and the various other activities they take on to raise funds. They also had goodies and some snacks J
Sunday was bid day, and so now I see so many girls showing off with their new sorority t-shirts! Although I didn’t plan on rushing initially, I must say that it is a GREAT experience. Being an international student, I was absolutely oblivious of the Greek life. I had known of clubs and organizations before, but after going through rush, I think the recruitment process is really unique.
The semester has already begun to get hectic. Classes have really kicked in now and so has homework, but what is great is that I am really enjoying them. I chose a wide range of subjects this semester (Math, Biology, Economics and Intro to Chinese culture) so I can explore my options and also decide my major.
It’s really great to be back on campus and I look forward to updating you with more events at Witt. Have a great week guys.
