Busy Busy

Hi guys,

It’s Rea again! I know I haven’t blogged in a while, but at this point in the semester everything gets busy. Last week was really intense with mid-terms and papers. However, the weekend was fantastic since it was homecoming. Wittenberg’s alumni came to visit over the weekend.  The weather was great and everyone seemed to be enjoying it since the last couple days had been comparatively cold. On Saturday we had the most exciting even called CROSSROADS- an International food fest wherein the international students got together to prepare a few dishes unique to their country. Swati and I made bhel; puffed rice with traditional Indian spices, onions and tomatoes. I really enjoyed tasting different cuisines. My favorite was Stroopwafel; a double layered waffle with caramel syrup in the middle. This is a Dutch speciality which a few of my friends made.

There was also the comedian show which was hilarious! It was great especially after a stressful week. I love it because there is always something happening. There’s never a dull moment! I can’t believe it’s already been almost three months since I arrived.

The coming weekend is Fall break. I’m really looking forward to catching up on my sleep and chilling with my friends.

I will blog sometime soon to keep you posted of more events and activities on campus.

Bye for now,

Rea
