Hey guys! It’s Rea. Last week was extremely busy and hectic with tests, papers and loads of homework. But, I was really looking forward to the weekend especially because my mum was visiting me. Angie, Robert and I went to get my mum from the airport. The ride back to Wittenberg was fun, laughing and giggling. Not long after we got back, we went for lunch in the CDR, where I introduced her to many of my friends. She was glad to finally put name to face. I had already finished my classes for the day and so I took her for a little campus tour. She was mesmerized by how beautiful the campus was. She also met a few of my professors. The next day was my birthday and so we brought in my birthday at POST 95- one of my all time favorite hangouts. My mum bonded exceptionally well with my friends and was thoroughly entertained by our “youthful zest” and humor and I can dare say, it brought out the teenager in her! It was a super fun weekend and it was great to have my mum stay with me, especially because I won’t be seeing her until sometime next year!
This week is really busy too! But, I am looking forward to tonight’s event- ‘Late Night Laugh’s Series’ with Natasha Leggero presented by the Union Board. I will definitely keep you posted of upcoming events and happenings at Witt!
