The 2010 Bahamas program has officially started. We (21 students and 3 faculty) met at Witt on Monday May 24 and spent some time finding out about where we are going (San Salvador, The Bahamas). We also learned and reviewed some basic snorkel techniques in the pool.
Today, Tuesday May 25, we are practicing making good scientific observations and asking questions. This afternoon we’ll learn how to use our GPS units.
Tomorrow morning we’re off to Nassau, and arrive on San Salvador on Thursday the 27th. Watch for a new post on Thursday or Friday!

Have a great time you guys–I went back in 06. Make sure you take time to soak it all up–it will be over before you know it.
To Jonny Price,
Hope you are having a great time. Kevin Metka won the state tennis tournament. Columbus had a clean sweep of the singles and doubles in both division I and II. Chris Diaz won Div. II singles. Chad Buchanan and Andrew Enslan won Div. II doubles. Billy Weldon and Stu Little won Div. I doubles. There were some great matches. Everyone asked about you.
