Sarah, Yeah! First time I looked at the blogs on something bigger than Dad's iphone and I was treated to a great picture of you having fun! Did my heart good. I was sad to leave our San Salvador (El Salvador) on Saturday as I'm sure you will be to leave your San Salvador on Friday but let me tell you, my own bed and shower felt great! Can't wait to have you back home and hear all about your grand adventure! Looks like you've all had a great time and probably couldn't help but learn at least a little. Safe travels back home!

Hey Hannah
Hunter went shopping 2 nights in a row with us! Can you believe that? Lol He is getting ready for his golf trip. He has agreed to help at camp doorforlox lol. He will have 5 and 6 year olds.
Mom's boss quit. Changes are probably coming but she still has a job.
I am writing this as Hunter is driving and Mom is charting in the back seat. The radio keeps changing, imagine that.
Hope you enjoy your last couple days. Looking forward to seeing you on Friday. Give me a F, a R, an I, a D, an A, a Y. What does that spell?
Love Hunter, Mom & Dad

Not much to say here! I'm sure that you are all enjoying your last week of research but looking forward to getting back to your homes and getting on with the rest of your summer! We are looking forward to your return, Rachael. It is terribly quiet here with you and your brother gone! Glad to hear you have had some wonderful dives (sorry you divers were all feeling a little under the weather after Sunday). Hope all is better so you can enjoy the rest of the trip! Looking forward to reading the remaining days' posts... Hope everything fits back into the suitcases! LOL

So sorry to hear the hard work is coming to an end. I am sure you will miss all the fabulous sites and discoveries. So as you squeeze into your wet beach shoes for the last time, begin to prepare yourself for the changes to come - as Starbucks started selling however-you-want-it frappuccinos, Taco Bell has 3 for $2 and 1 Kobe cannot make a team. And with the forecast for 90s this weekend we will keep the house comfortably cool for your return. See you on Saturday!!

Hey Ben!
I emailed your boss, you have a meeting Sunday at 7pm to organize things to make it better (he said to bring ideas), but you work 12-close (so I am guessing you will miss it?). You also work Monday Tuesday 8-4 (close to camp time?!?)and Wednesday Friday 12-close. I called your mom last night, so plans are set for Friday and I told them they probably wont hear from you until Friday. Tomorrow is my day off, so I am going to get some homework done. Friday I work until 6/630, so if your flight gets in early to Charlotte, I may not have my phone on me. Well thats all, I sent you an email so if you have a chance, its there! Well that is all. See you soonnn!

Hey Kevin I hear (read) that you are having a blast down in San Salvador! Mom and Dad are looking forward to your return but of course they know that you want to stay longer!! :) Anyways my research at JHU is going alright I am making a biocompatible polymer that can be used to transfer siRNA to cells. This polymer is temperature sensitive so we can get the
RNA drug to only targeted cells. The siRNA will interfere with translation and has potential applications in diseases of hyperactivity.

Take lots of pictures please! :). That memory card should be fulll!

Try some conch fritters while you are there YUM!

The messages are wonderful. Life will not be the same without the blog. We have cold temps and lots of rain in WI. There is flooding in the parts of the US. The Gulf area is getting very concerned about the oil which continues to flow out of the hole in the pipe. Maybe all of our Wittenberg expert researchers can come up with a fix for the hole and for the environment. The oil is now moving into the Harbors near Penscola, Florida.
Tasha - not sure if you are able to stay current on this, but I know that you are interested in what is happening to the marine life. So far, many birds and turtles have been rescued and cleaned. The CEO of Mote Marine laboratory was on TV this am discussing the concerns for the habitat and their future in those oil infested areas. It is a great concern and tourism has slowed in areas due to the oil.
Enjoy the beauty of your beaches and have lots of fun your last few days. All of your siblings: Jared, Kira, Cayla, and Jenna say hi and are anxious for Saturday!! See you soon, and oh, by the way, Tasha, please do come home!! Mom
